Axel Krieger

Axel Krieger is a Partner at the Munich Office.

Axel focuses on software investments in the automotive and industrial sectors (Industrial Tech) as well as Climate Tech. His investment and board experience at Yttrium includes NavVis, riskmethods (acquired by Sphera), Pricefx, Truce, and Anyline.

Prior to Yttrium, Axel was a Partner at McKinsey & Company in New York, Munich, and Beijing. Axel holds a Diplome de Grande Ecole and a MSc from ESCP Europe and a PhD in engineering from TU Berlin.

Outside of work, Axel enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids and is an enthusiast for all things car-related.
