William Doherty

William is Head of Platform at the Munich Office.

He spearheads the further development of Yttrium’s value creation platform, partnering with portfolio companies to identify growth opportunities and support operational excellence initiatives. He facilitates cross-portfolio insights and connects companies with relevant experts to drive collective growth across Yttrium’s network.

His background combines strategic consulting experience from BCG in the private equity sector with operational leadership at Spryker, where he drove strategy and revenue operations for the leading B2B commerce platform. William brings proven capabilities in collaborating with C-level executives, with particular strength in strategic planning, go-to-market execution, pipeline management, and churn prevention. He holds a BA from the University of Oxford.

Outside of work, William enjoys hiking in the mountains around Munich and fencing épée.
